There are so many ways that you and your family are special.
We all know that each child a special blend of abilities and disabilities. These factors can help point us to the best approach, where the students will have the best chance to flourish. Does your student...
- ...show readiness or interest for tiny group or private lessons?
- ...desire a neurotypical, adaptive or therapeutic approach?
- ...have any special needs? If so, are they mild, moderate or severe? (We serve them all!)
We also recognize that students have differing temperaments, personalities, likes, dislikes, goals and previous experiences that should be addressed when considering the best teachers and placement.
Consider just a few of the various options:
- A "Phase 1" (fun, cheerleader) teacher for beginners, starting a new instrument or less serious students?
- A "Phase 2" (transitioning to hard work) teacher for students in the middle of their journey?
- A "Phase 3" (working really hard) teacher for students who are serious about excellence, preparing for auditions & scholarships?
- A graded program with regular external adjudications and tests?
- A certified music therapist or an adaptive music educator for those with any kind of physical, emotional or cognitive special needs?
It is a family affair!
Finally, we also understand that each student comes from a special family that has its own limited capacity for scheduling, locations and budget. Your music experience needs to work for the whole family, not just the student. We offer customized scheduling and location options, and different tuition tiers (not the same as teacher Phase levels) and partial scholarships to do our best to meet your special family's specific needs:
- Does your family need evenings or weekend options?
- Do you need a temporary scholarship or want to donate to our fund?
- Are you a home-schooling family working with or without Charter school funding?
- If one of our four multi-class campuses is not convenient, do you need a satellite home studio location near you?
- Do you need coordinated options to accommodate one or more siblings at or around the same time? (We LOVE doing this!)
It is our goal at Arts Educators Group to address the unique needs of each child as well as each family to help ensure the best possible experience with music and the arts. We are here to help you navigate your journey, just let us know how we can help!
